Director, Office of Business Affairs
The Office of Business Affairs supports HARC's Researchers by performing the Financial, Sponsored Programs, and Intellectual Property administrative activities of the organization. The staff has extensive knowledge of the OMB circulars, FAR clauses, GAPP cost accounting standards and continues to enhance this knowledge through continuing education and memberships in various national organizations. This knowledge is based on both federal and State of Texas funding parameters.
The Business Office oversees all financial functions including accounting, budget, payroll, insurance, and taxes. Accounting personnel have over 50 years of combined experience in the financial operations of research contracting organizations.
The Grants and Contracts office oversees all pre-award and post-award aspects of research administration. The Grants and Contracts personnel have over 50 years of combined sponsored programs administration.
