Bob Travis is a Senior Grants and Contracts Specialist responsible for all aspects of preaward and postaward grants administration. He brings to HARC more than 15 years of experience in managing research grants at the University of Houston, the University of Texas system, and the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Not only has he had oversight responsibility for projects ranging from several hundred dollars to very complex grants in the tens of millions of dollars, he has personally authored successful grant applications that have resulted in awards of up to $750,000. He has extensive experience in dealing with federal, state, corporate and foundation sponsors. Bob holds a BBA degree from Baylor University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Tyler, and while at the University of Houston he completed the UH Research Administration Certification Program.
