As the Grants and Contracts Coordinator, Pat Benson works closely with Ivy Guice on the functions associated with the pre-award and post-award aspects of Sponsored Programs Administration.
Ms. Benson joined the HARC team in 1996 where she worked in the Environment Group. She has been active in her community for the last 16 years in the non-profit sector; having been employed by the Greater Houston Partnership Chamber of Commerce Division, and serving as General Manager of the South Montgomery County Woodlands Chamber of Commerce.
She attended Donovan Secretarial College in New Jersey and the Institute for Organizational Management in Texas. Ms. Benson is currently a member of the National Council of Research Administrators (NCURA) and the Society of Research Administrators (SRA). In 1991, she received the Montgomery County Outstanding Woman of the Year Award.
