Sarah assists in the education and outreach activities of the Gulf Coast Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Applications Center.  In 2005, she graduated from the Nicholas School of the Environment and Earth Sciences at Duke University where she earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and a Certificate in Energy and the Environment.  Her Master’s Project focused on the economic and social benefits of developing village-scaled renewable energy systems for the Navajo Nation in Arizona.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a focus in environmental studies from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA in 1999.

Sarah grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan.  She enjoys engaging political discussions, reading and writing fiction, listening to live music and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Sarah joined HARC in October 2005.
