Victoria Henry is a Senior Grants and Contracts Specialist in the Office of Business Affairs at HARC. Having previously worked for more than ten years as a grant and contract administrator, Victoria enjoys seeking out opportunities for funding at the federal, foundation and industry level and working directly with the investigators and teams to match solicitations to areas of research for possible funding. She has experience in both the pre- and post-award area of grant and contract administration and her background in education lends itself well to interpretation of sponsor policy as well as grant writing and objective editorial review. Victoria came to HARC in July 2005 after working for the University of Florida for nearly 23 years.
Victoria particularly enjoys managing conferences and educational seminars and, in her personal time, provides services to an international organization for management of the Spring Brain Conference each year in March.
Victoria maintains a busy lifestyle with her husband, four children, and two grandchildren. She enjoys reading mystery novels, sewing, machine embroidery, and gardening.
