Research Operations
Zengwang Xu is a geographer specializing in Geographic Information System (GIS). His recent research pursues advances in the network science and develops the network-based data model, analysis, and simulation in GIScience. Another research focus is the application of GIS on geo-spatial analysis and simulation on natural hazards and urban sustainable growth. Zengwang started with HARC in July 2007 after graduating from Texas A&M University with a Ph.D degree in geography. He received his B.E. (1995) from Southwestern JiaoTong University and M.S. (1998) from Nanjing University in China.
