Ivy Guice

As the Director, Office of Business Affairs, Ivy Guice is primarily responsible for managing HARC’s financial policies and administration and the many functions associated with the pre-award and post-award aspects of Sponsored Programs Administration, and Intellectual Property.  Ms. Guice brings over 18 years of experience in Research Administration to this role, through her previous affiliations with the University of Miami’s School of Medicine, Baylor College of Medicine and TME, Inc. She holds a B.S in Biology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.  She has been and is an active member of the National Council of Research Administrators and the Society of Research Administrators, assisting in workshops and presentations for these organizations.

Ms. Guice has been active in her community for the last eleven years in the non-profit sector; having been a board member and volunteer for various Parent Teacher Organizations, the National Charity League-Bluebonnet Chapter, South Montgomery County’s Library Guild, Conroe Independent School District’s YRE Advisory Group and Sts. Simon and Jude’s Youth Group.  In 1996, she received the Montgomery County Woman of Distinction Award.
