Linda Burchfield is HARC's Director, Office of Personnel and Security. Linda has 20 years administrative experience. Her thirteen years as a human resources generalist include nine years in human resources management. The Office of Personnel and Security is responsible for all aspects of HARC's day-to-day human resources function as well as security, immigration services, safety administration and IT team management. Linda has been employed by HARC since January 1991. She attended the University of Houston studying Elementary Education and Psychology. Linda is a founding member of the Research Forest Human Resources Forum. She also holds memberships in the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), Montgomery County Society of Human Resources Management (MC-SHRM), Houston Compensation Association (HCA), Houston Area Forum to Advisors to International Students and Scholars and NAFSA: Association of International Educators.
