Office of Business Affairs

The Office of Business Affairs supports HARC's Research by administering the sponsored programs, finances, and intellectual property of the organization. BA staff have extensive knowledge of OMB circulars, FAR clauses, GAPP cost accounting standards and both Federal and State of Texas funding parameters.  The Business Office oversees all financial functions including accounting, budget, payroll, insurance, and taxes while the Grants and Contracts Office oversees all pre-award and post-award aspects of research administration.  The staff of each office have over 50 years of combined experience respectively and continue to enhance their knowledge through participation in national organizations and continuing education.
