HARC announces new leadership
(The Woodlands, TX - February 1, 2012) New leaders will take the helm at the Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC), a nonprofit organization addressing environmental and sustainability issues in Texas.


Largest Solar Rooftop Project in TX Public Schools
HARC in partnership with the Pasadena Independent School District (PISD) and Ignite Solar, LLC, announced that construction is complete for the installation of three solar installations totaling approximately 145 kilowatts (kW) of energy at Sam Rayburn and South Houston High Schools. The installed systems are expected to save the district approximately $15,000 annually in energy usage and will serve as a real-world laboratory showcasing solar energy for students.


PISD Solar Initiative Ribbon Cutting
