As part of the City of Houston's electric vehicle initiative under an EPA Climate Showcase grant the Nissan LEAF was introduced at Reliant Part. Because of the efforts of the City and Reliant Energy, Houston was the only Texas city where the LEAF was introduced in this cross country event.
