2006 Annual Report
During 2006, one joint sponsor project was organized, a demonstration of NAVSEA's hull inspection technology, however, sufficient sponsorships were not realized to carry out the trial. Three sponsors' meetings were held throughout the year. In addition, a proposal was developed and submitted to the Minerals Management Services (MMS) agency to screen novel elastomers that incorporate nanotechnology for High Pressure/High Temperature (HP/HT) applications. We have been verbally informed that the MMS will fund the project. Also during 2006, several individual sponsor projects were coordinated and the technology catalog was expanded.
