The CFCRA Core Program is intended for companies wishing to keep tabs on progress in the fuel cell, hydrogen, and related industries. The program gather intelligence by reviewing the technical literature, patent office filings, and industry newsletters, by surveying commercial and company literature, by attending industry conferences, by tapping university and national laboratory relationships, and by participating in USFCC and other industry association activities. By integrating information from all of these sources, the Core Program provides sponsors with a broad, big picture understanding of the current hydrogen technology industry activities and technology status. The program will help sponsors anticipate future industry progress and directions.
Sponsors receive
- A monthly newsletter detailing:
- noteworthy company news, product information, government activities, and general industry trends
- noteworthy technical developments, patent filings, and university research
- USFCC activity updates
- conference updates
- Quick Briefs - short, easy-to-read (2-5 page) analytical reports covering a range of topical subjects such as emerging technologies, developing markets, interesting applications, and new products related to fuel cells and to hydrogen production, storage, and distribution technologies. Quick briefs provide sponsors with more information and analysis regarding specific topics. [Twenty-four bimonthly reports planned.]
- Technical Reports - 10-20 page detailed reports highlighting commercial or scientific topics of interest. Technical reports will be used to overview and summarize technical topics or to assess specific applications of technology. Technical reports provide Core Program sponsors with detailed information and analysis for in depth understanding. [Four quarterly reports planned.]
- Fuel Cell Industry Assessment Report - an annual report listing major fuel cell stack developers and system providers. The IAR provides Core Program sponsors with detailed descriptions of the technical approach and commercial activities for each company. [One annual report planned]
- Sponsor Meetings - The Center will hold at least one annual meeting of interest to sponsors. Individual meeting times, meeting frequency, and agenda will be determined in conjunction with sponsor needs and interests.
