HARC looks to support commercialization activities with additional funding from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund and SBIR grants.
The NEC will maintain an eye toward spinning out technology for commercial exploitation. The intention is to pursue commercialization of technology in terrestrial applications by leveraging funding through the State of Texas Emerging Technology Fund, Small Business Innovative Research grants, or a wide range of other funding avenues (NSF, ATP, DOE, etc.). This process may involve further collaboration with NASA Centers, universities, and private or public organizations with an interest in the technology.
