Gavin Dillingham to discuss Solar Power at Going Green Sustainability Lecture

The Woodlands G.R.E.E.N.’s next Going Green Sustainability Lecture: “Solar Energy—Beyond Consumer Rates; What’s Next in Developing Community Energy Projects?” is scheduled for Thursday, September 28, at 7:00 p.m. The lecture will be held at HARC, 8801 Gosling Road, The Woodlands, TX 77381.

The development of solar energy products and sources continues to advance rapidly as the world turns more and more to “alternative” sources of power. Joey Romano will cover topics that include an overview of the development of a 12 acre, 15,000 panel solar “farm” located in Sealy, Texas, as well as discussion of community solar models and the general overall impact of solar energy on consumers. Dr. Gavin Dillingham will join Mr. Romano to answer questions and address solar power initiatives in The Woodlands area.
