Recently, HARC was awarded a grant from The Garden Club of Houston to enhance the HARC campus by developing a pollinator and butterfly garden.
HARC’s New Home: A Vision of Sustainability Realized
As a result of beginning with the end in mind, HARC's headquarters is on track to achieving a Platinum Level Leaders in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification - making it the first LEED Platinum green building in The Woodlands, Texas. Platinum is the most environmentally stringent LEED certification issued by the U.S Green Building Council. On Thursday, October 17th HARC’s building and campus received the LEED Project of the Year at the US Green Building Council’s Texas Chapter Building Energy Summit.
On Thursday, June 27 HARC building and campus were awarded the Project of the Year from the USGBC Chapter Leadership Awards.
